Q: HOW DO I BACK UP MY TRIPS?
    A: THE ORIGINAL FILE TYPE WHEN LOADED THE ITRAIL SOFTWARE PROGRAM
        IS .SKX. WHEN YOUR MAP IS DISPLAYED CLICK ON REPORT THE GO DOWN TO
        EXPORT REPORT AND CLICK ON SKX. THIS REPORT CAN BE SAVED ON THE
        COMPUTERS HARD DRIVE OR AN EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE. THE SKX
        REPORT CAN BE IMPORTED BACK TO THE SOFTWARE TO VIEW AT A LATER
        DATE.
 
6. Q: HOW CAN I PLAY A TRIP USING GOOGLE EARTH?
    A: CLICK THE GOOGLE EARTH BUTTON ON THE MAIN MENU AFTER THE TRACK 
        DATA DOWNLOADED, THEN YOU CAN SHOW THE TRIP IN GOOGLE EA RTH.
 
7. Q: HOW DO I CHANGE THE LOGGING INTERVAL TIME?
    A: CLICK Setup Device , IF LOGGER IS ALREADY CONNECTED, DEVICE SETUP
        SHOWS A GREEN CIRCLE. IF NOT IT WILL BE RED. IF THE LOGGER IS NOT
        CONNECTED PLEASE CONNECT IT. ON THE LEFT YOU WILL SEE INTERVAL
        WITH A NUMBER. YOU CAN DELETE THAT NUMBER AND PUT THE AMOUNT YOU
        WISH THE ITRAIL TO LOG.
 
8. Q: IS THE ITRAIL WATERPROOF?
    A: THE ITRAIL IS MANUFACTURED TO BY "OUTDOOR WATERPROOF" MEANING
        THAT THE LOGGER IS RESISTANT TO NORMAL RAIN AND MOISTURE
        CONDITIONS. HOWEVER, IT CANNOT BY SUBMERGED UNDER WATER.
 
9.Q: WILL THE TIME ON MY REPORT CHANGE IF I CROSS INTO A DIFFERENT
        TIME ZONE?
   A: IF YOU CROSS INTO A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE THE ITRAIL LOGGER HAS THE
       CAPABILITY OF AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING THE TIME.
 
10. Q: HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE TRIP FROM THE LOGGER TO THE
           SOFTWARE?
      A: AFTER THE SOFTWARE AND DRIVER HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED TO YOUR
          COMPUTER OPEN THE ITRAIL SOFTWARE AND CONNECT THE LOGGER. YOU
          WILL GET A POP UP ASKING TO DOWNLOAD TRACK DATA. CLICK YES.
 
11. Q: HOW DO I KNOW WHEN THE ITRAIL GPS LOGGER MEMORY IS FULL OR
           THE BATTERY HAS RUN DOWN?
          Memory is full:
          The red LED indicator blinks every 3 seconds.
          Low Battery :
          The red LED indicator blinks every 5 seconds, the iTrail GPS logger stopped
          tracking.
 
12. Q: HOW DO I CHECK TO SEE IF MY SOFTWARE NEEDS TO BE UPDATED?
      A: IF A NEW UPDATE IS AVAILABLE YOU WILL GET AN AUTOMATIC POP UP
          WHEN THE ITRAIL PROGRAM IS OPENED. TO START THE UPDATE CLICK YES.
 
13. Q: HOW DO I MAKE SURE THE DRIVER IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY?
      A: GO TO YOUR CONTROL PANEL. CLICK ON SYSTEM. CLICK ON HARDWARE.
          CLICK ON DEVICE MANAGER. SEE IF "GPS LOGGER US COM PORT (COMXXX)
          UNDER PORTS.
 
14. Q: HOW LONG WITH IT TAKE FOR THE ITRAIL TO OBTAIN A SIGNAL AFTER
          TURNING IT ON?
      A: IF YOU TURN THE LOGGER ON AFTER IT HAS BEEN OFF FOR MORE THAN 4
          HOURS THE LOGGER WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 40-60 SECONDS TO OBTAIN
          A SIGNAL AND START RECORDING. IF THE LOGGER HAS BEEN OFF FOR LESS
          THAN 4 HOURS IT WILL TAKE 10-20 SECONDS TO OBTAIN A SIGNAL AND
          START RECORDING. WHEN THE LOGGER OBTAINS A SIGNAL THE BLUE AND
          RED LEDS WILL FLASH TOGETHER. WHEN THE LOGGER IS SEARCHING FOR A
          SIGNAL THE BLUE LED WILL FLASH EVERY 4 SECONDS.
 
15. Q: HOW MUCH DATA CAN THE ITRAIL STORE?
      A: THE ITRAIL CAN STORE UP TO 120 HOURS OF TRACKING TIME.
 
16. Q: WHY IS THERE NO RESPONSE WHEN I PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE
            LOGGER?
      A: MAKE SURE THE LOGGER IS FULLY CHARGED. YOU CAN ALSO RESET THE
          LOGGER.
 
17. Q: CAN I CHANGE THE BATTERY OF THE LOGGER?
      A: IN ORDER TO MAKE THE ITRAIL WATER RESISTANT, THE LOGGER IS
          MANUFACTURED IN A TIGHTYL SEALED HOUSING WHICH DOESN NOT ALLOW
          FOR THE BATTERY TO BE REMOVED OR REPLACED.
 
18. Q: HOW DO I ADJUST THE TIME ON THE LOGGER?
      A: THE TIME IS TAKEN FROM YOUR COMPUTER. CHECK THE DATE AND TIME
          PROPERTIES ON YOUR CUSTOMER AND MAKE SURE THE TIME AND TIME
          ZONE ARE CORRECT.
 
19. Q: IS THE ITRAIL COMPATIBLE WITH MAC?
      A: NO. THE ITRAIL IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS.

21. Q: WHAT MIGHT CAUSE THE ITRAIL TO HAVE DIFFICULTY ACQUIRING A
            SIGNAL?
      A: A SUCESSFUL GPS FIX REQUIRES A CLEAR VIEW OF THE SKY, ESPECIALLY
          WHEN THE LOGGER HAS BEEN OFF FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.
          SURROUNDED BY HIGH BUILDINGS, INSIDE TUNNELS, OR IN AN
          ENVIRONMENT WITH STRONG RADIO FREQUENCY MAY CAUSE THE LOGGER
          TO TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO OBTAIN A GPS SIGNAL.
 
22. Q: WHEN I CLICK YES TO DOWNLOAD TRACK DATA THE SOFTWARE
            FREEZES.  WHAT DO I DO?
      A: IF YOU HAVE SOFTWARE VERSION 3.3 UPDATE TO 3.4 AND THAT WILL BE
          RESOLVED. ANOTHER WAY AROUND IS TO GO TO FILE AND CLICK
          DOWNLOAD.
 
23. Q: HOW DO I TELL IF THE ITRAIL H6000 IS FULLY CHARGED?
      A: WHEN CHARGING THE RED LED INDICATOR WILL BE ON. WHEN THE LOGGER
          IS FULLY CHARGED THE RED LED WILL BE OFF.
 
24. Q: THE PDF REPORT IS SHOWING COORDINATES FOR THE ADDRESS. HOW
            DO I MAKE IT DISPLAY THE ACTUAL ADDRESS?
      A: IF THE EXACT LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE WHERE THE VEHICLE STOPS ARE
          NOT REGISTED AS AN ADDRESS WITH GOODLE ONLY THE COORDINATES
          WILL BE DISPLAYED. CLICK ON THE COORDINATES AND A GOOGLE MAP WILL
          COME UP PIN POINTING THE EXACT LOCATION WITH THE ADDRESS THAT IS
          THE CLOSEST. TO DISPLAY THE ADDRESS ON THE REPORT A MARKED
          LOCATION WILL HAVE TO BE CREATED ON THE TRIP MAP. OPEN THE TRIP IN
          THE ITRAIL SOFTWARE AND FINE LOCATION ON THE MAP. CLICK THE MARK
          LOCATION ICON AND CREATE A FENCE AROUND THE ARE THEN PUT IN THE
          ADDRESS AND LOCATION NAME.
 
25. Q: WHEN PLAYING BACK MY TRIP THE ROUTE IS INACCURATE. THERE ARE
            ALSO PARTS OF THE TRIP THAT ARE MISSING. IS THE LOGGER
            DEFECTIVE?
      A: IN THIS CASE THE LOGGER IS NOT GETTING A STRONG ENOUGH SIGNAL.
          THERE ARE ABOUT 25 LEOS (LOW EARTH ORBITING SATELLITE) IN ORBIT.
          THE ITRAIL HAS TO BE CONNECTED TO ATLEAST 4 LEOS TO GET AN
          ACCURATE SIGNAL. SINCE THE ITRAIL IS A PASSIVE LOGGER THERE IS NO
          WAY TO SEE HOW MANY LEOS IT IS CONNECTED TO. THE ONLY WAY TO
          FIND WHERE THE LOGGER IS GETTING THE BEST SIGNAL IS TO PLACE THE
          LOGGER IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ON THE VEHICLE. AFTER TRYING A
          LOCATION DOWNLOAD THE TRACK DATA TO SEE IF THE READINGS ARE
          ACCURATE. IF NOT TRY A DIFFERENT LOCATION ON THE VEHICLE.
 
26. Q: HOW DO I RESET THE LOGGER?
      A: CLICK THE HAMMER ICON AT THE TOP
          MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN. MAKE SURE THE LOGGER IS CONNECTED AND CLICK
          RESET DEVICE.
 
27. Q: MY USB CABLE BOKE. WHERE CAN I PURCHASE ANOTHER CABLE?
      A: CONTACT THE COMPANY YOU PURCHASED THE ITRAIL FROM. IF THEY DO
          NOT HAVE EXTRA IN STOCK THEY CAN ORDER ONE FOR YOU.
 
28. Q: WHY ARE ALL THE ICONS GRAYED OUT? I CAN'T DO ANYTHING.
      A: THE ICONS AT THE TOP LEFT ARE DIFFERENT REPORTS THAT CAN BE OPENED
          AND PRINTED OUT. IN ORDER TO CREATE A REPORT THE MAP OF A TRIP
          MUST BE DISPLAYED. CLICK ON A TRIP UNDER NAME AND DATE ON THE
          LEFT. AFTER THE MAP COMES UP YOU WILL BE ABLE CLICK ON THE REPORT
