How Do Hidden Cameras Work?
They work by capturing images and video without being noticed by the people they are monitoring. Hidden cameras typically incorporate small, discrete designs that are easy to conceal and can be mounted in a variety of locations. Some models are designed to blend in with the environment and are almost undetectable.
Can I Get Audio In My Hidden Camera?
The short answer is no. It is illegal to record audio in a surreptitious manner, which includes audio in a hidden camera.
How Far Can A Wireless Hidden Camera Transmit?
While high-powered hidden cameras can transmit up to 2,000 feet, a standard hidden camera is going to be able to transmit up to 1,000 feet.
Can A Cordless Phone Interfere With Wireless Cameras?
If the cordless phone operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency (which most do) it can cause interference, however it should be minimal and usually only occurs in the phone is between the receiver and camera.

Yes, the transmitters used in all of our wireless systems are approved by the FCC as well as Industry Canada Certified.
Do Receivers Work Through Thick Walls?
Yes! Our receivers work through walls up to two feet thick as long as there is not an excessive amount of metal in the wall.
Do You Need A VCR To Record Video?
If you want to record the video that has been captured you will need a VCR or DVR.
